Photo credits

The bulk of the images on the website portray a variety of treescapes worldwide and tree species in the urban environment of Athens. My personal photo archive has been the source for almost all the pictures for the Tree Survey in Athens and any picture across other section that is not otherwise credited.

However in order to add visual aids in the sections describing the various research projects two image databases have been used:

Shutterstock, through the purchase of appropriately selected pictures.

These rich databases with their licensing plans have proved invaluable, particularly for conveying the landscapes which could prove to be sources for the tree species for the future.

However on a personal note, some photos were provided by family and friends abroad and have been credited.
